Merry Christmas. May GOD Bless all your homes and families.
Well I am finally back on the computer for small amounts of time. I had to have surgery on my shoulder for a torn rotator cuff. Wow this was about the most painful surgery I have been thru. I cannot use my arm for 6 weeks. I can move the lower half a bit now so I can knit for short periods of time..... I also found out that I have blood clots so I am on blood thinners. The clots are caused by a genetic disorder so the treatment is not clear to me yet. I have to meet a cancer and blood specialist to find out exactly so far it looks like shots for 7 days in my stomach that was joyful twice a day. My poor tummy is so bruised. and then pills for 3 months. Christina will have to undergo testing also to see if she has this. The shoulder was pretty bad from the pictures they had to put in a screw and scrape the bones to reconnect the muscels and tendons.
THE GREAT NEWS IS HUBBY IS RETIRED FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.... YEAH.... I do not know what I would do without him here. He is so helpful and is doing most of all the work and housework.
The pugs are doing great. We took them to a wonderful holistic vet that found out that they are allergic to chicken and grain.. so it is homecooking for them... and lots of turkey...
well I have to stop now... Hope to post more later after I rest this shoulder up...
Happy Knitting.

so, does that mean you're going to 'grow' turkeys? If so can I put in an order for next fall?
I'm glad you're feeling better.. yea! about retirement. Tom finally got promoted and is going to finish his BA and head for his Masters... ughh... I'll be looking at the back of his head for a couple of years... sigh... but it's for a good cause! He's almost there!
I didn't realize the surgery was so invasive! Yes, get Christina checked! Amber says hi and has been terribly busy recooping from a trip back east and finishing studies... she'll be headed out to college, or the U soon... gonna miss her.... DID I JUST SAY THAT?! :p
